Soon be moving my source code to GitHub

Hi Everyone,

NSE EOD Data Downloader was built out of my frustration of not getting valid free stock price data at the tip of my hands, and sharing this project has only made lives easier for people like me who are interested in analyzing stock price data.

I have noticed a lot of source code downloads and I only feel content that a lot of you might have build their own hacks out of this project. If you too believe in sharing your work then do submit your hacks or bug fixes so that we can make this software better.

I will soon be moving my source code repository to GitHub. GitHub is a great platform where you can share your work with me. So the next time if you are looking forward to build something crazy out of this project, just fork it from GitHub.

      Hi Raju,

      Thank you for your feedback Raju.

      I have received a lot of requests to include MCX data. I am trying my level best, however recently I have not been able to give much time as my study load has considerably increased from past year.
      That being said, I plan to add a lot features as time permits and MCX feature is one feature certainly worth looking into.

    Thank you for your software. It is very useful.

    Feedback:
    The software does not download data if there is a trading session on either a Saturday or a Sunday. Can this be looked into?

      Dear Young Djinn,
      The program is **not hardcoded** for skipping weekend. Please goto settings->others and uncheck skip weekends.

      Hi Arul,
      You can make this downloader automatic and schedule by using windows task scheduler if you have windows or through cron jobs on linux system.
      For windows:
      Just call NSEEODDataDownloader.bat and pass from and date parameters and your are good to go.

    if u add delivery data in equity in next version. any way there are no mcx downloader ,if u start about it. and any donation option if u add ,we can try to have some fund for the development

      Assuming you are running windows double click NSEEODDataDownloader.bat in the directory of the NSE downloader.
      If it does not work then right click and click Run as Administrator. If it still does not work, then you probably don't have java installed or configured.In that case I would recommend you to install Java from here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html
      Download Java SE runtime for Windows x64
