Version 2.0 in its testing phase
Good news to share with you all.
The much awaited version 2.0 is into its testing phase and if no critical defects are found it will be released soon.
As promised, users have the highest level of customization going as deep as selecting a single index for a particular date.
I would not like to comment further on the features/customization since it would banish the suspense but I am sure you all will definitely love it.

Couple of feature added
Couple of feature have been added in the new version 2.0
Development is still in progress

The new version is free from the defects mentioned earlier hence all the defects have been closed.

Defect Id for High Priority Bug as mentioned in my previous article is 3197916
Defect Id for Old data download problem is 3197916

Impact:
If users are downloading data for end days of month they might face some problems.
Measures:
Working on this issue with highest priority.
Will come out with a fixed version before I goto sleep.

Birth of Version 1.1
Like I said ... the problem in version 1.0 was the input to version 1.1
Version 1.1 included one major fix which also became the feature of this version
It boasted 10 times faster processing of files and reduced the memory usage in same numbers.
Before you think it was a great deal let me correct you that IT WAS NOT!!!!
I just used a different function which not only reduced the cpu usage,cpu time,system memory but also my lines of code :)
To summarize
Features in version 1.1
Faster processing of files.
Problems :
Users complained that they had to wait because the s/w tried to download files even though it was a date falling on weekends.
This problem is now looked after and will be fixed in version 2.0
