After a long time

NSE EOD Data Downloader v2.1 is now available for download.
This release includes the much awaited 'date time picker' control to select the date.
It also sets the date control to the current date. A request which flooded my mail box for months ;) .

Here is the download link

Once again I thank you all for your continuous support and keep posting/mailing requests.

Thanks,
Rohit

    1. Hi Vivek,
All you need to do is extract the downloaded zip file through win zip. Once you extract it, double click on NSE EOD Data Downloader v2.1.jar. Enter the date and click on download.
      You are good to go.

    1. Hi Prakash,
Right now there is no setting which will download data in a particular folder.
By Default a folder is created in the same path where the Nse downloader is downloaded.
By design I have tried my level best to keep the software as simple and user friendly as possible.

However, if i get similar requests like this then I might add this feature.

      Regards,
      Rohit

  4. How is a .jar file run on windows? I updated my Java also, but when I double click on this .jar file, it is opening Nokia suite application.

  5. I think the Nokia application suite has registered as the default application to handle jar files in your OS.
You will have to change that to point to your Java Executable program so that you can run the downloader application by clicking on it.
If that is not possible then please send me your
    1. OS version
    2. type of OS Linux/Windows/Mac
    3. Directory where java is installed
I will send a shell script/batch file to you

    Regards,
